	Iao Morning	Just a narrow shaft of sunlight from a side valley illuminates this tree.
	Iao Needle	After a long period of drought, this storm brewed a full day before it actually broke. I painted this on location.
	Into the Sun	Painted this as the sun began its afternoon voyage to the horizon. My dedication was tested as ants discovered my stillness in concentration, but I stayed with it and captured this moment.

	Kalalau Red Hill	Ten miles along the trail from Ke�e Beach, Red Hill is the last major climb. It glows gem like in the morning light.
	Kauai Dreaming	When people see this painting they often say, "That's where I want to live." Therefore the title.
	Kauai Summer Morning	At the base of the Na Pali cliffs, the oceans laps impatiently at giant boulders
	Kekaha Rain 2	When it rains in Kekaha, one of the driest places on Kauai, it is a blessing. The clouds to the east are back lit by the morning sun.
	Kekaha Sugarmill	Sugar is no longer profitable. The retired mill is rapidly being reclaimed by weeds.
	Kihei Trades	This painting attempts to capture the love affair between coco palms and the brisk trade winds.

	Lagoon of Alii	Near Hanapepe, this reef juts out of the water, proving higher sea levels millennia ago, a favorite wintering spot for the Alii, Hawaiian nobility.
	Leaf Fall Kalalau	Trees without leaves is an unusual sight in the tropics. These were denuded by high winds and salt spray.
	Lumahai Beach and Bali Hai	On a misty morning, I started a wet-on-wet painting. When the fog lifted, I tore the first painting off the block to catch this unusual light
	Luminous Valley	The misty ocean air makes for dramatic light shows against the backdrop of the Pali. (Original available.)
	Mango Trees and Heliconia	So dense is the tropical vegetation in places that it feels like a tunnel, punctuated by bright shafts of light.
	Na Pali Dawn	Early mornings, before the left brain has fully awakened, can be the best time to paint. This preceded sunrise and it was back lit.
	Na Pali Morning Light	These massive cliffs of Na Pali contain the eleven mile trail to Kalalau.
	Na Pali Spires	The cliffs of Na pali are precipitously steep, making them a world class natural creation to behold and experience.

	Tahiti Fete	Mastery is walking the fine line between spontaneity and control. These dancers personify that delicate balance and they are having fun.
	Taro Above Ginger Pools	In the dense jungle of a wilderness valley, a view opens up along the stream.
	Vanda & Phalenopsis	Painted from life, both the vanda and phalenopsis complimented each other. The phalenopsis is painted with bleach.
	Wailua Blue Hole	A remote and wild valley leads to the base of Wai'ale'ale Mountain. (Original available )
	Wailua Falls	After the spring rains, these falls wax mightily.
	Waimea Canyon	From inland one can enjoy views of both the canyon and the ocean beyound.
	Wainapanapa	Painting on location is an excuse to spend with the most beautiful views. Doing it for a living is just icing on the cake.
	Waves of Bougainvilleas	Hanapepe's cliffside bursts into glorious color with season rains.
	Wavestorm	I was painting so close to the water that a rogue wave splashed over the paper. Luckily there was a fresh water stream nearby and the painting was salvaged.
	Where the Wild Ginger Grows	Secret waterfalls like this are plentiful on Na Pali. (Original available.)

	Wisdom of the Mountain Stream	As I was finishing this watercolor, sitting for two hours, I paused and looked up at the stream. I could palpably feel the wisdom of this site, hence the title.
	Young Wild Banana	Growing in a remote valley, this banana will provide fast food for lucky hikers.
